Shairbek Jurayev

Marie Curie Fellow at the School of International Relations, University of St Andrews Shairbek Juaraev previously served as Deputy Director at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek in 2012-2015. He also worked at the American University of Central Asia between 2007 and 2012 in the positions of Director of the Central Asian Studies Institute, Dean of Academic Development and Chair of the International and Comparative Politics Department. Shairbek holds a MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics (2005). He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation on foreign policies of Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
