Episode XV – Violence at home ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏ ͏‌ ͏‌

In this episode, hosts Rashid Gabdulhakov and Kamila Smagulova meet with director Kasiet Ysmanova and research fellow Albina Yun of Central Asia Barometer to discuss their recent report on How to support survivors of domestic violence in rural Kyrgyzstan better? The researchers interviewed survivors of domestic violence and explain the sensitivities of this research method as well as some of the tragic cases they came across. In the chat, concrete suggestions on how to address this broad problem are discussed as these are important for Kyrgyzstan and international donors but also relevant to other countries.
