My name is Anastasiya Ten and I am from Tajikistan. I have a MA degree in Comparative Local Development from the consortium of Corvinus University Budapest, the University of Regensburg and the University of Trento and a BA in Diplomacy and International Studies from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea. During my studies I have focussed mostly on socio-economic and political development trends in Asia. In my MA thesis I worked on external labour migration in Tajikistan.

Until recently I have been involved in the research activities of the European Institute for Asian Studies in Brussels where I focussed on EU-Central Asia relations. Apart from academic and think tank activities, I participated short-term internship and volunteering projects in India, Nepal, Tajikistan and Ghana.

In the EUCAM fellowship programme I will conduct research on the renewable energy potential of Tajikistan within the broader discourse on sustainable development.
