On 25 February 2010 EUCAM launched the report Into EurAsia – Monitoring the EU’s Central Asia Strategy that concluded the first phase of EUCAM. The participants from European and Central Asian governments plus expert and academic communities discussed the main conclusions of the report in-depth. The presentations and discussions did not only look back at the first few years of the EU strategy for Central Asia but also took a forward-looking approach in proposing new avenues of cooperation and intensifying European engagement. The seminar devoted also attention to the Spanish EU presidency that coincided with Kazakhstan’s OSCE Chairmanship.
